Rwanda, host country of the 2th edition of FIPROD, in its policy among the most open on the African continent, offers the entry visa on its territory for citizens of all countries and grants the issuance of a free visa for 30 days on arrival (equivalent therefore visa exemption) to travelers from many member countries of the African Union, the International Organization of La Francophonie and the Commonwealth. Here are the three categories of countries:


Category 1: The countries concerned by the free 30-day visa on arrival are the following: South Africa, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Botswana, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Cape Verde , Comoros, Congo, Cyprus, Djibouti, Dominica, Egypt, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Gabon, Gambia, Greece, Grenada, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Laos, Lesotho, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Malawi, Mali, Malta, Morocco, Mauritius, Mauritania, Moldova, Monaco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Niger, Nigeria, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Romania, United Kingdom, Western Sahara, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Solomon, Samoa, Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.


Category 2: Nationals of the following countries can now obtain a 90-day visa free of charge: Angola, Benin, Congo (DR), Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Haiti, Indonesia, Mauritius, Philippines, Qatar, Central African Republic, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Singapore and Chad.


Category 3: Nationals of the following African countries can now obtain a 6-month visa, free of charge: Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Tanzania.


Nationals of the 17 OHADA States Parties, who will participate in FIPROD 2 in Kigali from November 16 to 19, 2022, as well as all nationals of the countries listed above, will therefore be able to obtain their entry visa to Rwanda free of charge at their arrival in Kigali.
